This Means War! is the ninth studio album by the Christian rock band Petra, released in 1987. The album moves Petra toward a harder, arena-rock sound while still using keyboard synthesizers. The lyrics start a military motif that would appear in several later albums. Most tracks were written by Bob Hartman. It was produced by John and Dino Elefante and released on StarSong. The album runs 39 minutes and 56 seconds. In Petra’s discography, it comes after Back to the Street (1986) and before On Fire! (1988). Three singles were released: "This Means War!", "I Am Available", and "Get on Your Knees and Fight Like a Man" (all in 1987).
