The Warlord Game
The Warlord Game is a fantasy board game from 1977, published by Robert Williams Games. In this game, players try to gain power in medieval Europe, using board play with role-playing elements.
Reviews noted mixed feelings. David James Ritchie in The Space Gamer said the game isn’t strong as a straight historical game, but it works very well as a role-playing game. Don Turnbull in White Dwarf described it as an attractive game that can be fun with four players or more, though it’s rather dull with only two players.
