Dillard Bleu Devils and Lady Bleu Devils

Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, competes in NAIA Division I as the Bleu Devils (men’s teams) and Lady Bleu Devils (women’s teams). The Bleu Devils are part of the HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC), formerly the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference, since 1981–82. The university fields 12 varsity sports: men’s baseball, basketball, cross country, tennis, and track and field; women’s basketball, cross country, tennis, track and field, and volleyball; plus co-ed cheerleading and dance. Home games for basketball and volleyball are at Dent Hall (1,500 seats); tennis matches are at the Dillard University Tennis Center; track and field and cross country are outdoor events. School colors are royal blue and white. Dillard used to sponsor a varsity football team (1935–1965), which played at Dillard Stadium. Website: www.dillardbleudevils.com
