The Redward Edward Papers is a collection of science fiction and fantasy stories by American writer Avram Davidson, edited by Michael Kurland. It was first published in hardcover by Doubleday in July 1978. An ebook edition appeared in August 2013 (Gateway/Orion), and the stories have been translated into French.

The book gathers six short or novella-length pieces, plus a foreword by the editor, an introduction by Randall Garrett, and afterwords to each story and to the collection as a whole by Davidson. The title story, The Redward Edward Papers, appears here for the first time; the other stories were originally published in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction and Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine.

The collection was nominated for the 1979 World Fantasy Award for Best Anthology/Collection and finished fifteenth in the 1979 Locus Poll for Best Single Author Collection.

Critics have praised Davidson’s work. Charles N. Brown, writing in Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, called Davidson one of the finest short-story writers in English, though underrated. He found The Redward Edward Papers excellent, with the title story charming and witty, and other stories like Sacheverell and The Lord of Central Park wonderful; The Grantha Sighting was described as devastatingly funny, and The Singular Events... and Dagon would stand out in any anthology. Brown also noted that the afterwords don’t add much and the introductory material is filler. The collection was also reviewed by Algis Budrys in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction (March 1979) and by Darrell Schweitzer in Science Fiction Review (May 1979).
