PA 442 is a 14.7-mile state highway in Pennsylvania, running through Lycoming and Columbia counties. It is maintained by PennDOT and has existed since 1928. The road begins at a T-intersection with PA 405 in the borough of Muncy and ends at PA 42 in Iola. From Muncy, PA 442 goes southeast through a mix of homes, farms, and rural countryside, passing through Muncy Creek Township and the community of Clarkstown, then Moreland and Franklin townships. After crossing into Columbia County, it enters Pine Township near Pine Summit, continues through more woods and fields, and finally reaches Iola, where it ends at PA 42.
