The Great Australian Bake Off — Season 1
The first season of The Great Australian Bake Off aired on the Nine Network from 9 July to 27 August 2013. It had eight episodes and featured ten home bakers competing to be crowned Australia’s best amateur baker. The season was hosted by Anna Gare and Shane Jacobson, with judges Dan Lepard and Kerry Vincent. Nancy Ho won the season.
In every episode, bakers faced a different theme and three challenges: a Signature bake, a Technical bake, and a Showstopper. The season showcased a wide range of baking, from cupcakes and pies to biscuits, pastries, and multi-layer cakes.
