Planckendael

Planckendael is a zoo in Mechelen, Belgium, located on the grounds of Planckendael castle in Muizen. In 1956, the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp bought the estate to have more space for animals than at the Antwerp city zoo. It is home to exotic animals such as rhinos, bison and various antelope species. The park also has facilities for visitors, including a large play area for children.
