Amorphophallus margaritifer
Amorphophallus margaritifer is a plant in the arum family (Araceae). It is an annual herb native to parts of Asia, including India (Assam), Bangladesh, the East Himalaya, and Myanmar. In Bangladesh, it grows in moist, shady places often beside fields. The flower stalks (peduncles) are eaten as a vegetable.
