The Expression Amrilato, known in Japan as Kotonoha Amurirāto, is a Japanese visual novel by SukeraSparo released in 2017. It stands out because it uses Esperanto (the game calls it Juliamo) as the in-game language, and players learn Esperanto as they play. The Japanese Esperanto Institute helped translate phrases between Japanese and Esperanto.

Story: Rin Takatō, a girl, suddenly ends up in another world where no one speaks Japanese and signs are in Juliamo. She meets Ruka, who helps her adapt. As Rin learns Juliamo, she grows closer to Ruka.

Gameplay: A bishōjo romance visual novel with educational elements—players read, make choices, and gradually learn Esperanto.

Release details: Windows released in Japan on August 25, 2017; Android on December 22, 2017; iOS on February 16, 2018. The Windows version was released worldwide on June 13, 2019.

Sequel: Itsuka no Memorajxo ~Kotonoha Amrilato~ (Distant Memoraĵo) released in Japan on March 15, 2019, with a worldwide Windows release on July 15, 2021.
