The Eras Tour Book is a limited-edition, self-published photo book by Taylor Swift. Officially titled The Official Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book, it’s a 256-page hardcover that was released on November 29, 2024. The book serves as a visual and written record of Swift’s Eras Tour (2023–2024), a 149-show global journey designed to revisit every studio album she released up to that point.
Inside, you’ll find concert photos, behind-the-scenes shots, handwritten notes, essays, and song lyrics. The content is arranged by album-era chapters, with designs that reflect each era’s look and feel. The foreword is written by Swift, who explains that the tour was created to honor multiple phases of her career rather than a single album, inspired in part by her ongoing Taylor’s Version re-recording project.
The Eras Tour Book was released as an exclusive Target item in the United States. It hit in-store shelves on Black Friday, with online sales beginning November 30, and international availability followed on December 7 through Swift’s official store. The release was promoted via Swift’s social media and media appearances, including a note that it marked her first-ever book.
Commercially, the book sold extremely well. It moved about 814,000 copies in its first three days and nearly a million in its first week, earning headlines as one of the biggest book launches of the year. Some readers pointed out production flaws—typos, blurry images, and layout issues—leading to jokes about an “Errors Tour Book.” Despite these critiques, many saw the release as a cultural milestone and a bold example of artist-led publishing and marketing.
The Eras Tour itself concluded in December 2024 in Vancouver, wrapping up Swift’s monumental multi-continental project. The book stands as a lasting keepsake from what fans and critics called the Eras era, a chapter in Swift’s career marked by huge influence and massive fan engagement.
