That's Freedom is a song written by Tom Kimmel and Jean Anne Chapman. Tom Kimmel performed the original version on his debut album, 5 to 1, which reached number 64 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in July 1987. In 1990, Australian singer John Farnham recorded a cover for his 14th album Chain Reaction. Farnham released it as the second single in September 1990; the track lasts 4:16. His version peaked at number 6 on the Australian singles chart and was nominated for Single of the Year at the ARIA Awards in 1991. The Farnham recording was produced by Ross Fraser and John Farnham.
