Alec Alston
Alec Alston (26 February 1937 – 23 February 2009) was an English football forward from Preston. He played in the Football League for Preston North End, Bury and Barrow, making 235 appearances and scoring 62 goals. He also played for Netherfield and Fleetwood, and in total he made 270 league appearances with 77 goals. His brother, Adrian Alston, was also a professional footballer who played for Australia; the brothers played together for Fleetwood in the 1967–68 season.
