Tawonga is a small town in northeast Victoria, Australia. It is on the Kiewa Valley Highway in the Alpine Shire, about 350 km northeast of Melbourne. As of the 2021 census, Tawonga has a population of 568. The Tawonga post office opened on 4 October 1879. On 5 December 2011, a fire destroyed the 125-year-old Bogong pub in Tawonga.
