Tavfer–Ovos Matinados–Mortágua
Tavfer–Ovos Matinados–Mortágua is a Portuguese men’s road cycling team that focuses on developing junior riders. It was founded by former pro Pedro Silva and is based in Mortágua. The club began in 1999 as Mortágua Clube duas Rodas (later known as Velo Clube do Centro) and has won national championships in several categories. In 2018, the Portuguese Cycling Federation granted new development licenses, and the team was promoted to the UCI Continental level with sponsorship from Miranda e Irmão (a bicycle components company) and support from the Mortágua municipality. The team rides Scott bicycles and is managed by general manager Pedro Silva, with team managers Hélder Miranda and Xavier Silva. UCI code: TAV; registered in Portugal; status: Continental since 2018.
