Tarucus sybaris
Tarucus sybaris, the dotted blue, is a small butterfly found in southern Africa. It belongs to the Lycaenidae family. Males have a wingspan of about 22–26 mm, and females about 20–27 mm. Adults can be seen year-round, with a peak from November to March. The larvae feed on Ziziphus plants, including Ziziphus zeyheriana and Ziziphus mucronata.
