Klaus Theiss
Klaus Theiss (born 9 July 1963 in Nagold, West Germany) is a German former professional footballer who played as a sweeper. He was 1.84 m tall. After coming through TuS Ergenzingen, his senior career included Karlsruher SC (1981–1985, 125 appearances, 8 goals), Eintracht Frankfurt (1985–1987, 42/9), Hamburger SV (1987–1988, no league games), Viktoria Aschaffenburg (1988–1989, 36/1), FC Homburg (1989–1991, 34/3) and Tennis Borussia Berlin (1993, 3/0). In total he made 240 league appearances and scored 21 goals, with 146 Bundesliga appearances and 94 in the 2. Bundesliga. Internationally, he earned 1 cap for Germany U18 and 2 caps for Germany U21.
