Otello Toso
Otello Toso (22 February 1914 – 15 March 1966) was an Italian film and stage actor. Born in Padua, he studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and graduated in 1939, then began his film career soon after. He was very active in the 1940s, often playing villainous roles. After World War II he mostly appeared in melodramas and other genre films, with the notable exception of Death of a Cyclist by Juan Antonio Bardem. He died in a car accident in Pieve di Curtarolo, near Padua, at the age of 52.
