Tanner Vallejo (born December 16, 1994) is a former American football linebacker who played in the NFL. He grew up in Penn Valley, California, where he attended Nevada Union High School and earned MaxPreps All-American honors; he also played baseball there. At Boise State, Vallejo became a standout, notching 100 tackles as a sophomore and blocking two kicks in one game. He received second-team All-Mountain West honors in 2014, but his final college season ended early for wrist surgery.

Vallejo was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL draft (195th overall). He went on to play for several teams, including the Bills, Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, and Washington Redskins. Notable moments include a sack and forced fumble against the Steelers in 2019 and leading the Cardinals with 12 tackles in Week 17 of the 2020 season against the Rams. He signed a two-year, $4.1 million contract with the Cardinals in 2021 but spent time on injured reserve in 2021, returning in 2022.

In 2023, Vallejo signed with the Minnesota Vikings but was released in August after the preseason. Across his NFL career, he recorded 114 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 pass deflections. Vallejo’s grandfather was born in Ecuador.
