Tamer Karadağlı
Tamer Karadağlı (born 24 May 1967) is a Turkish actor and director who works with the Turkish State Theatres. His family comes from Sarıkamış in Kars Province, Turkey. They moved to the United States for a short time after he was born, but returned to Turkey when he started primary school. He studied at Çankaya High School and TED Ankara College, then studied theatre at Bilkent University Conservatory.
Karadağlı made his TV debut in 1993 in the popular daily series Ferhunde Hanımlar. He became well known for the long-running sitcom Çocuklar Duymasın (2002–2019), where he played Yağmur Zamanı. He also appeared as Timur in Şaşıfelek Çıkmazı and acted in the films Beyza'nın Kadınları and Living & Dying. In 2012 he starred in the Turkish action film Alina, the Turkish Assassin, with Seda Eğridere; Bobby Roth served as consulting director and producer.
On the personal side, he married actress Arzu Balkan in 2002, they divorced in 2007, and they have a daughter.
