Sylvania Sandstone

The Sylvania Sandstone is a Middle Devonian geologic formation in Michigan and Ohio, United States. It is part of the Detroit River Group, lying above the Bois Blanc Formation and below the Amherstburg Formation. The type locality is Sylvania, Ohio, and the formation preserves fossils from the Devonian period.
