Genus: Syllophopsis
Syllophopsis is a genus of Myrmicine ants found across the Southern Hemisphere and the tropics, except for South America. It was once regarded as a synonym of Monomorium, but in 2015 Ward and colleagues revalidated the genus. As of 2024, there are 23 recognized species in Syllophopsis.
