Swapna Majumder
Swapna Majumder (born 12 August 1974) is an Indian politician from Tripura. She serves as a member of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, representing the Rajnagar constituency in South Tripura district. Rajnagar is reserved for the Scheduled Caste community. She belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and took office on 2 March 2023, succeeding Sudhan Das. Majumder lives in Rajnagar, is married to Asim Majumder, and has a BA from Tripura University (completed in 1997). In the 2023 elections, she won the Rajnagar seat with 20,849 votes, defeating Sudhan Das of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) by 1,335 votes.
