Swapna Liddle is an Indian historian, author, art curator, and heritage conservator based in Delhi. She earned a B.A. from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University; an M.A. and M.Phil. from the Centre for Historical Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University; and a Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia. Liddle studies Delhi’s history, including its architecture, buildings, and food culture. She works as an art curator and believes in involving people to help preserve heritage. She was the convener of the Delhi Chapter of INTACH (the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage). She has contributed to The Delhi College: Traditional Elites, the Colonial State, and Education before 1857 and edited Sair-Ul-Manazil.
