Sun Flightcraft
Sun Flightcraft, formerly Pro-Design & Sun Flightcraft, is a privately held Austrian aerospace company based in Innsbruck and owned by Herbert Hofbauer. It once designed and built ready-to-fly powered parachutes for microlight aviation, starting in the early 2000s as a division of Hofbauer GmbH. The company stopped producing the Sun Flightcraft Air-Chopper around 2008, but parts are still available. The Air-Chopper was notable for its coaxial, contra-rotating propeller that reduced torque effects. Today, Sun Flightcraft mainly acts as an importer and dealer, representing Airborne Windsports ultralight trikes from Australia and distributing aircraft from other makers, including Aeropro Eurofox, B&F Fk9, B&F Fk14 Polaris, Evektor Eurostar, TL Ultralight TL-2000 Sting, Flight Design CT series, and Rotax engines.
