Stuhać is a demon-like creature in Serbian folklore, known in the Herzegovina region. Its name sounds similar to zduhać, but they are not the same. Stuhać is said to live in high mountains and barren places. Its appearance isn’t described, but it is believed to wear bundles made from human ligaments on its legs to keep from slipping on cliffs. If a bundle breaks, it would pull ligaments from someone’s legs to make a new one.
