Steven Thomas Knox (born 16 February 1974) is an English cricket coach and former player. He played for Scotland from 2003 to 2007 after meeting residency requirements, and also played minor counties cricket for Cumberland. He is a right-handed opening batsman who played club cricket in Scotland and New Zealand, including Penicuik, Heriot’s and St Albans in Christchurch.

Knox played for Cumberland in the Minor Counties Championship from 1994 to 2009 and appeared in List A matches, including an undefeated 108 against the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board in the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. He represented Scotland in four ICC Intercontinental Cup matches from 2004 to 2007.

In coaching, Knox was appointed head coach of the Germany national cricket team in January 2014, a role he held on a part-time basis until 2023. Under his leadership, Germany won the 2016 ICC Europe Division Two title and the 2017 ICC Europe Division One title, earning a spot in the 2017 World Cricket League Division Five. In Twenty20 cricket, Germany narrowly lost to Jersey on net run rate in the 2019 European qualifier, and in 2021 they beat Italy on net run rate to reach the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A. In 2016, Knox also became head coach of the Scotland women’s national cricket team, a position he held until 2020.
