László Hajdu (born 23 August 1947) is a Hungarian economist and politician. He has represented District XV (Budapest Constituency XXIII) in the National Assembly from 1994 to 2010 and again since 2018. He served as mayor of Budapest’s 15th district in two periods: 8 December 1996 to 3 October 2010, and 12 October 2014 to 7 June 2018 (succeeded in 2018 by Angéla Németh). His party affiliations over time include MSZMP (1970–1989), MSZP (1989–2011), and DK (since 2011). He was born in Vésztő, Hungary. He has been married to Krisztina Mária Katalin Onódi since 1970, and they have three children: a son László (born 1970) and two daughters, Katalin (born 1975) and Mónika (born 1979).
