St. Charles is a small town in Ontario, Canada, in the Sudbury District. It became a town on January 1, 1999, when the townships of Casimir, Jennings and Appleby joined together, along with a small piece of land near the West Arm of Lake Nipissing. It’s part of the Sudbury East region, along with Markstay-Warren and French River.

In 2021, 1,357 people lived in St. Charles, which covers about 314 square kilometers, making it a sparsely populated area. About 41% of residents identify as Franco-Ontarian, meaning French is their mother tongue. The municipality includes the main townsite of St. Charles and the smaller communities of Casimir and West Arm. The mayor is Paul Branconnier.
