Nya Kirby
Nya Kirby is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for AFC Croydon Athletic. He was born on 31 January 2000 in Islington, England, and began his football career in the youth systems of Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace.
Kirby started his senior career with Crystal Palace, spending time on loan at Blackpool in 2019 (11 appearances, 1 goal) and at Tranmere Rovers in 2021 (6 appearances). He left Crystal Palace in 2022 and joined Oxford City in August 2023, where he scored his first goal for the club on 28 August 2023 in a 4–0 win over Boreham Wood. In 2024 he moved to AFC Croydon Athletic and made his league debut on 10 August 2024 against Ramsgate.
Internationally, Kirby has represented England at the U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels. He was part of the England U17 squad that won the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup, scoring the decisive penalty against Japan in the round of 16 and coming on as a substitute in the final against Spain. He also played for England U19 at the 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
