Song for Alpha is the second studio album by English electronic musician Daniel Avery. It came out on 6 April 2018. In the United States and Canada it was released by Mute Records, while worldwide it was released by Phantasy Sound. The album follows Drone Logic (2013) and precedes Illusion of Time (2020). Singles from the album include "Sensation/Clear" (released 4 December 2015) and "Diminuendo" (released 12 October 2018). Song for Alpha received widespread critical acclaim, with a Metacritic score of 84 based on 17 reviews.
