Sneakin' Suspicion is a 1977 rock and roll/pub rock song by Dr. Feelgood. It opens their album Sneakin' Suspicion, was recorded at Rockfield Studios, and mixed in New York. The single came out in the UK in May 1977 and reached number 47 on the UK Singles Chart, staying for three weeks. It was written by Wilko Johnson and produced by Bert de Coteaux. This was Dr. Feelgood’s first hit single and the only one to feature Johnson on lead guitar; later singles used Gypie Mayo. The B-side is “Lights Out,” written by Seth David and Mac Rebennack. The German sleeve is pictured here, while the UK release had no picture sleeve. The song later appeared on the 1997 compilation Twenty Five Years of Dr. Feelgood.
