Skippy Arculli
Skippy Arculli is a former United States international lawn and indoor bowler. Born in Hong Kong, he later moved to the United States. He won a gold medal at the 1984 World Outdoor Championships in Aberdeen; in the final his partner Jim Candelet fell ill and could not play, so Scottish reserve George Adrain replaced him. Arculli also won the United States National triples title in 1965. After moving to the United States, he won four United States Championships: three singles titles (1978, 1981, 1995) and one pairs title (1983). He was a banking executive by trade and bowled for Essex County in Nutley, New Jersey.
