Sir Ralph Cole, 2nd Baronet
Sir Ralph Cole, 2nd Baronet (1629–1704) was an English politician. He was the son of Sir Nicholas Cole, 1st Baronet, and Mary Liddell, daughter of Sir Thomas Liddell, 1st Baronet. His father was mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne and a wealthy merchant who owned Brancepeth Castle. In 1660 he became the 2nd Baronet after his father's death. He was the Member of Parliament for the City of Durham from 1678 to 1679. He married and had three sons. He was succeeded by his grandson, Sir Nicholas Cole, 3rd Baronet.
