Simian Records was an American independent record label founded in 2005 by actor Elijah Wood. It was incorporated in California on May 10, 2007. The label's first release was The Apples in Stereo's New Magnetic Wonder in 2007, co-released and distributed with Yep Roc Records, Elephant 6, and Redeye Distribution. Simian Records also signed Heloise and the Savoir Faire. The label ceased operations on August 12, 2015.
