Signature of Divine (Yahweh) is the first single from Needtobreathe’s 2007 album The Heat. The Christian rock song was released in the summer of 2007 on Atlantic Records and was written by Bear Rinehart and Bo Rinehart.
The track helped establish Needtobreathe’s presence in Christian rock, and critics gave positive reviews. AllMusic described the song as having “rich, sweeping gusto,” while Jesus Freak Hideout praised its soaring worship and said it delivers a strong, worshipful impact.
On the charts, Signature of Divine (Yahweh) reached No. 1 on the Radio & Records Contemporary Christian radio chart and was among the top 15 most-played Christian songs of 2007.
In 2008, the song was nominated for a Dove Award in the Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year category at the 39th GMA Dove Awards.
