Si Tandang Bacio Macunat (also spelled Si Tandang Basio Macunat), literally “Old Man Bacio Macunat,” is a Tagalog work by Spanish friar Miguel Lucio Bustamante published in 1885 in the Philippines. The text argues that education is undesirable for the Indios and criticizes the Ilustrado class for pursuing education.
