Shadow Man is the second studio album by South African artist Johnny Clegg and his band Savuka. It was released in 1988 and recorded between 1987 and 1988. The album runs 42 minutes and 10 seconds, was released by Capitol, and was produced by Hilton Rosenthal.

At a time when South Africa was under apartheid, many songs carried strong political messages aimed at the regime. The lyrics are mainly in English, with backing vocals in Zulu.

Johnny Clegg wrote all the songs, except for tracks 7 and 8, which were co-written with Keith Hutchinson.

In Canada, Shadow Man reached number 31 on the charts twice, on September 3, 1988 and on October 1, 1988. The single “I Call Your Name” peaked at number 78 in Canada on August 27, 1988.
