Serratto
Serratto is a restaurant in the Nob Hill area of Northwest Portland, Oregon. It serves Italian and Mediterranean fare using Pacific Northwest ingredients. The owners are Alex and Julie Bond, and the spot is located at 2112 NW Kearney Street, Portland 97210.
The restaurant has an upscale, lounge-like vibe. Some outlets describe it as a French/Tuscan fine-diner. Menu highlights include dinner dishes like butternut squash and goat cheese ravioli, lamb shank with mascarpone polenta, pork loin with shallot apple sauce, French onion soup, and a potato and spinach tart with arugula and truffle oil. For dessert, there’s a chocolate cobbler with vanilla bean gelato. Lunch offerings include pizzas, salads, and sandwiches, while the happy hour features items such as a Painted Hills burger, French fries, and margaritas.
Serratto is in the former Delphina’s Pasta and Pizza space. Chef Tony Meyers leads the kitchen, and long-time bartender Kurt Fritzler has been part of the team. The restaurant launched a prix fixe menu in 2013 and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, added outdoor seating and kept most staff.
Reception has included a mix of opinions: in 2011, David Sarasohn of The Oregonian gave it a B rating; Eater Portland highlighted it in a 2017 Northwest District guide. In 2024, Serratto was described as underrated or a hidden gem, still beloved by Nob Hill locals, with recommendations for private dining rooms as well. Website: serratto.com.
