Sergey Kriyanin
Sergey Mikhaylovich Kriyanin was born on February 9, 1971, in Votkinsk (then part of the Soviet Union). He is a Russian former cross-country skier who competed from 1990 to 2006. His career highlights include a bronze medal in the 50 km at the 2001 World Championships in Lahti and an eighth-place finish in the 30 km freestyle at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He won two Russian national 50 km races, in 1999 and 2001. In the World Cup, he competed for 14 seasons (1993–2006), with 52 individual starts and 9 team starts, and his best overall ranking was 41st in 1999. He did not win any World Cup events or podiums.
