Sebeš is a river, bog, and suburban settlement in Belgrade, Serbia. It lies in Belgrade’s Palilula municipality. Mokri Sebeš, meaning “wet Sebeš,” is a slow canal system in the marshes of the Pančevački Rit. The waters start south of Borča, flow east, and curve north of Kotež, past the Veliko Blato bog, eastern Krnjača, and the bogs of Sebeš and Reva, then empty into the Danube as a left tributary. Sebeš is a popular fishing spot for Belgrade residents. The name comes from a Hungarian landowner; mokri means wet in Serbian. Sebeš or Ovčanski Sebeš is a southern sub-settlement of Ovča, located on Mokri Sebeš about 9 kilometers northeast of central Belgrade and 4 kilometers from Ovča. It has a railway station on the Belgrade–Pančevo railroad.
