Sebastián Pérez (footballer, born 1990)
Sebastián Andrés Pérez Kirby (born 2 December 1990) is a Chilean footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Palestino. He was born in Viña del Mar and is about 1.80 m tall.
Career
He began his career with Everton de Viña del Mar, making his top‑flight debut by coming on for Gustavo Dalsasso in a match against Cobreloa. He then spent time on loan with Deportes Melipilla and Deportes Puerto Montt in lower divisions. After limited chances at Everton, he joined Palestino in 2018. He later played for Deportes Iquique in 2019–2020, then joined Universidad Católica in 2021, and was loaned to Unión Española in 2023. In 2025 he returned to Palestino.
International
Pérez has played for the Chile national team, making his debut on 9 December 2021 in a 2–2 draw with Mexico. He has earned a couple of caps.
Personal
He is nicknamed Zanahoria (Carrot) because of his hair color. Through his mother’s side, Pérez has Irish ancestry.
