Douglas Scott Stewart (Scott Stewart) was born on January 16, 1969, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a former Canadian rugby union player who could play at fullback, fly-half, wing, or center.

Club and provincial career:
- Played for the University of British Columbia, UBC Old Boys, Harlequins (England), Bedford Blues (England), and Dax (France).
- Represented British Columbia at the provincial level from 1986 to 1994.

International and sevens career:
- Earned his first Canada cap on September 23, 1989, against the United States in Toronto.
- Played in five Rugby World Cups: 1991 (against Fiji, Romania, France and New Zealand), 1995, and 1999 (participated in all three pool matches in both 1995 and 1999).
- Last international test was on June 9, 2001, against England at Burnaby Lake.
- Total Canada caps: 64 with 84 points.
- Also played for Canada in rugby sevens from 1992 to 1997.

Coaching:
- Coached at UCLA from 2004 to 2019.

Honors:
- Inducted into the British Columbia Rugby Hall of Fame in 2018.
- Inducted into the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame as a member of Canada’s 1991 World Cup Team.
- Inducted into the Canadian Rugby Hall of Fame in 2019.
