Sana is a rural commune in the Macina Cercle of the Ségou Region in Mali. It covers about 500 square kilometers and is made up of 27 villages. The administrative center is the village of Saye. In the 2009 census, Sana had a population of 28,356. The area is in the GMT time zone (UTC+0). Coordinates: 13°49′43″N, 4°59′35″W.
