Diplacus bicolor, commonly known as the Harlequin monkeyflower, is a small flowering plant found only in the southern Sierra Nevada of California, especially below the Mount Whitney area. It grows in bare and disturbed habitats, such as exposed talus slopes and roadsides. The plant is an herb up to about 14 centimeters tall. Leaves are oval to linear and reach up to 2.3 centimeters long. The flower has a dark, ribbed calyx with hairy sepals and pointed lobes. The tube-like base leads to a corolla 1–2 centimeters long, which can be pink or yellow and often has stripes near the mouth. Some classifications also call it Diplacus whitneyi.
