Saltillo Mansion
Saltillo Mansion is a 1943 watercolor by American realist painter Edward Hopper. The work shows a Neoclassical Spanish Revival mansion on Victoria Street in Saltillo, Mexico, seen from the rooftop of Hopper’s residence. Hopper and his wife stayed in Saltillo during the summer of 1943 after spending time in Mexico City. The painting measures 21 1/4 by 27 1/8 inches (54 by 68.9 cm) and is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
