Sainte-Rose is a large coastal commune in Guadeloupe, a French overseas region. It sits on the island of Basse-Terre and is the second-largest commune in Guadeloupe by area, after Petit-Bourg. The area covers about 1,119 square kilometers, and around 17,700 people lived there in 2023. The landscape ranges from sea level to hills reaching 758 meters.

Administratively, Sainte-Rose is in the Basse-Terre arrondissement and is part of the Nord Basse-Terre community. The mayor for 2022–2026 is Adrien Baron.

The commune uses the Atlantic Time Zone (UTC-4). Postal codes are 97129 and 97115. The population density is about 149 people per square kilometer. There are public schools serving preschool through high school.

A notable place in Sainte-Rose is Clugny Beach.
