Sai District was a rural district in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. It is now part of the city of Isesaki.

Sai District was created on December 7, 1878, during the reorganization of Gunma Prefecture into districts. It originally included two towns, Isesaki and Sakai, and 13 villages. These areas came from former Isezaki Domain, Ichinomiya Domain, Maebashi Domain, and 10ryō lands controlled by the Tokugawa shogunate.

With the municipality system established on April 1, 1889, the district became two towns and eight villages. On April 1, 1896, Sai District merged with Nawa District to form Sawa District.
