Bog River, also called Bog River Flow, is an 18-mile (29 km) river in the Adirondack Mountains of Hamilton County, New York. It starts near the Oswegatchie River sources, flows through Lows Lake and Hitchens Pond, and ends at Bog River Falls near Tupper Lake. Much of the river is calm water because two early 20th-century hydroelectric dams were built by Abbot Augustus Low. There are about forty campsites along the river. The stretch from Tupper Lake to Hitchens Pond is designated a Scenic River by New York State. The Bog River is part of the Five Ponds and Round Lake Wilderness Areas.
