Sarpara is a village in the Kamrup rural district of Assam, India. It lies on the south bank of the Brahmaputra River and is close to National Highway 17. The village has a nearby railway station and is well connected to nearby towns and cities by regular buses and other transportation. The area is governed by a gram panchayat and has about 10,500 residents.
