Richie Bayes (March 21, 1948 – October 16, 2006) was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre. Born in Toronto, he was drafted fourth overall in 1964 by the Chicago Black Hawks, but he never played in the NHL. He played professionally in 1973–74 with teams including the Johnstown Jets and the Broome Dusters, and he represented Canada at the national level.

After retiring from hockey, Bayes worked as a vice principal and teacher at Bible Hill Junior High School in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. He also coached for the Truro and Area Minor Hockey Association. Richie Bayes died on October 16, 2006, at age 58.
